NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO APPLICATION BY THE TOWN OF DUBLIN FOR FUNDING UNDER THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AS AMENDED Notice is hereby given that the Town of Dublin Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on March 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda will allow, at the Dublin Community Center, Dr. R. L. Summerlin Building, 120 Second Street, Dublin, NC, in relation to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for a project in the community. The Town of Dublin will submit a CDBG-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) application to the NC Department of Commerce for funds to assist with the purchase of Emergency Medical Services equipment, as well as a new fire truck and necessary upfitting. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to provide oral and written comments on the County's use of CDBG funds. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend. The proposed budget includes the following public services related CDBG activities: Public Services Program Administration Total Project Budget $1,350,000 $ 150,000 $1,500,000 The Town will minimize displacement to the extent practicable and will comply fully with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA) and its implementing regulations for any CDBG-funded public services activity involving acquisition or displacement. Any acquisition or displacement resulting from the project will be conducted in accordance with federal relocation requirements to ensure fair treatment and protection of affected persons and businesses.
